The majority of people living here are most Hispanic and African American.
I am currently working at Sun Valley Charter School. The mission statement for the school is "Every Student, Every Day; High Standards, High Achievement!". The school has about 220 kids, we have 2-kindergarten teachers, 2-1st grade teachers, 2-2nd grade teachers and 1 teacher for each 3rd - 6th grade classroom. The average class size is about 19-20 students with about 11 teachers, we have a mix of Hispanic, African American and Caucasian teachers. The majority of the teachers are female with the exception of the PE/Art teacher who is male.

Although it's super hot here in the summer with temperature up to like 115 sometimes, it's in all and all great place to live and my husband and I love it. We moved her recently in Aug. 2011 from Grants Pass, Oregon where I was born and raised my entire life. There are lots of things to do here there are 2 zoos, the Desert Botanical Garden and many other tourist attractions. There are tons of shopping malls and shopping centers. The job market seemed to be better down here and we are excited that we will actually be able to afford to buy a house down here because of the market being so low. We are very excited.
